I had guttering and tiles replaced a short while ago without any issues, John provided me an extremely competitive estimate and was able to begin the work shortly after. From what I witnessed the work was carried out in a safe and profesional manor and the lads involved were punctual and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and would certainly use them again should the need arise.

Small building repairs where both professionally and punctuationally done . I would recommend to family and friends alike

Do not use them. I hired them to carry out storm damage repairs, which they did, but told me there was additional repairs needed. I paid for these "extra" repairs but the next downpour resulted in water pouring in through two places in my roof where these repairs had supposedly been carried out. I called John who came as saw where the water was coming in and assured me "his boys" would get it fixed. I don't know if they tried and failed to repair it or just didn't bother but to a lesser degree (potentially due to there not being any rain for a while) water still came in. After calling John repeatedly and his assurance that his "boys" had been up and repaired it - on 3 occasions - I eventually called out another roofing company who were shocked at what they found: - nails hammered all the way through the underlay and not sealed - this caused a slow ingress of water that has caused extensive damage in the roof space - badly fitted top flashing that hadn't been properly fixed and would most likely blow off at some point - huge pile of slates and other debris left on the dormer window roof - some of which blew off damaging a neighbours roof and garden - badly filled in spaces and repairs when I was charged for new slates - blocked gutter and down pipe due to debris I have asked Dunwell Roofing for an explanation and compensation (payment for the other roofers fixing all the issues) but have only received denials and rude letters. In my opinion John Bennet and Dunwell Roofing are a bunch of cowboys and should not be trusted. There are much better roofers out there whom I would be happy to recommend.
