I always post under a pseudonym for privacy reasons but this is a genuine review for work done on our flat roof in Dudley Avenue, Edinburgh which was completed on Monday. We had a single ply membrane and insulation installed to replace our cold felt roof as well as a new cupola and skylight, some chimney pointing and guttering work done. Scott was great to deal with, from initial quote to completion, nothing was too much trouble and his team were the same. They kept us informed throughout the works and were very flexible with incorporating our curve ball request for a ventilation pipe for the bathroom. On the job they were cheery and cleaned up after themselves. We didn't have a completion deadline but the work was started quickly and done in around 18 days. The craftsmanship looks good and a guarantee is being provided. This is a professional company and I am happy with the work. The price was competitive and when our kitchen extension needs reroofed I'll be using Compass.

Compass roofing has recently completed a major tenement repair on our building. Work included a new roof, overhaul of cupula and chimneys, and stonework repairs to the front elevation. Scott who runs the company took a close interest in all aspects of the work and dealt well with any problems that arose. The work was completed on time and budget and the whole job looks great. I would recommend the firm to others.

After years of having our roof repaired every year we decided on having it re-slated. We're very pleased with the work that Compass roofing have done. They explained everything that needed done in writing and overall done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend if you live in Edinburgh.

Thanks to Compass roofing we have a building that, having been in a poor state for many years, is now in excellent condition and should last for years to come. Required repairs were extensive and included the roof cupula and stonework on the front face of the building. Works were carried out within the stated time frame and we were kept informed of the process throughout with weekly meetings and assessments. Scott went above and beyond what was required of the job. I will add that the one star given by a disgruntled reviewer complaining of paperwork not being provided is not representative of the facts. As one of the organisers of this communal repair involving 15 owners, I can confirm that Compass was not in a position to provide this at the time as they had not yet received the formal agreement to carry out works. The reviewer, was also outvoted by 14 owners who were happy to choose Compass to carry out the repairs.

Just got my gutters repaired by Compass roofing. Good service provided, very professional work. No problems or surprises!!
