Allsworth replaced the roof of our cottage, which was leaking as the traditional Cotswold slats had shifted over the decades and in the old days they didn’t have the same liner technology. Allsworth were also roofing a new extension which we wanted to match to the traditional part. They took all of the original slats off, and redressed each one. As normal there were many lost. Before re-roofing with the redressed slats they offered to use a liner with a layer of insulation and a gold reflective layer, as we had no insulation previously, and this will make a good difference without changing the profile of the roof. The old roof was redressed very well, and the division between our roof and our neighbours very well cut and guttered. The use of Cardinal darker grey weathered effect to the new part looks as we hoped; it gives an excellent traditional look. We were delighted with the new roof, and I wanted to leave this review to say Allsworth did a great job. The cost is good value in proportion to the outcome.
