We hired Clark Grant roofing ( now SW roofing) to do repair work on leaking gutters and broken roof tiles. During the audit to assess the situation David Grant made a professional impression, friendly and keen to do the job in a timely manner. However once the job was "done" and it turned out they did a very poor job David Grant became the type of roofer that actually doesnt care about you, only your money. Despite the promise and legal requirement to honour guarantee for his work, after 7 months we are still waiting for him to come and fix the still leaking gutter and replace broken roof tiles. We did countless calls and emails for months just to get false promises and no show ups. The office manager, Sam Garrity, is totally unable to deal with this issue, has nothing to offer to find a solution. David Grant is now no longer answering his phone, perhaps blocking our numbers and avoid therefore any conversation to find a way to deal with. Avoid this company, don't fall for the good offer and the fake customer care. We hope this review helps and avoids future trouble with this roofing company.
I don’t usually write reviews for anything but I felt compelled to write this one as I felt Clark Grant roofing did a great job and really deserved a good write up. I bought an old 1900's house with my wife which needed MAJOR work done to it. I was recommended Clark Grant Roofing through a friend of a friend as the first thing which needed urgent attention was the roof as it was literally full of holes. I got a free quote and rundown of what was needing done which was really helpful and the quote was reasonable price wise. In passing I mentioned other work I was needing done and to my surprise Clark Grant Roofing ended up giving me a quote for several jobs around the house. I got several more quotes from other companies some more expensive and some less but I felt really comfortable with Clark Grant Roofing and what they were saying to me. In the end they ended up carrying out a load of jobs including: Major roof repairs 2 Velux window installations new guttering Plastering (practically whole house) installing new kitchen (including plumbing and electrics) making a Downstairs toilet (where there wasn’t one before) Knocking away structural wall between the Living room and kitchen. Installing Hard Wood flooring throughout ground floor. It was a massive job (from my point of view) and David from Clark Grant Roofing was great. He liaised with the architect and structural engineer and made everything go as smooth as possible. With so much getting done there were of course a few things that didn’t go 100% to plan but there was never any problem getting in touch and sorting it out with little fuss. I honestly can’t recommend this company enough as it was a really stressful few months for me and my wife and it was made a lot less stressful by Clark Grant Roofing. Cheers again.
I would recommend this company done some very good work on my mums house and was left in good condition
Clark Grant Roofing done work for me recently I found their prices very reasonable & their workmanship excellent. They came out, gave me a quote then had the work completed in a few days with no problems or inconvenience to me, I would highly recommend this company.
This company quoted for replacing rotten timbers and adding UPVC facias and other roofline work. They didn't replace the rotten timbers and attached the UPVC to them to cover them up. The timber couldn't support the facias which fell off in less than a week. I ended up taking them to court and won the case, but they still didn't refund my money. They are fraudsters. Don't use them.
