Done a tile job for my mother. She was very pleased and they were very polite. Reasonable priced too.

Paid them to fix a valley on my roof. Listed various reasons for the leak and they came a few times but they never fixed the issue and I had to go elsewhere in the end. Next people disagreed with the info from Bates and identified a different fault and fixed it first time.

Do not use this company! Bates Roofing carried out repairs work to our roof 18 months ago which has not fixed our leak, and the manager Sophie Armsby is now ignoring any attempts for us to contact them by telephone and letter. Very unprofessional and not upholding the guarantee placed on their work. A separate company has assessed and said their work is not up to standard and will need to be redone. Sophie Armsby has since also registered another company Access Roofing so avoid that one too.

I moved from the colonies (Sydney) to England 3 years ago, and without doubt Mick and Justin are two of the most professional workmen I've had the pleasure doing business with. Old school, English work ethic -- brilliant service with a smile. Not only did they repair my gutter in speedy fashion, but they also proceeded to clean the adjoining neighbour's gutter to ensure that the problem wouldn't return! Mick is a real gentleman and I can't recommend Bates Roofing highly enough. Thanks fellers!
