Marx Construction has done work on our house several times and they have done a great job. I wasn't sure what materials to use in my kitchen and Mark was full of great ideas and walked me through the process. He is very creative and very patient.Their prices aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and their support was worth the price. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to remodel their home.

Marx installed some doors, with out trim work, on our house when we bought it about 2 years ago. I didn't write a review then, because I didn't think it was worth the time. They gave us an estimate of $255 on our initial contract for labor. Then charged us $412.92. That's, as you can see at least $155 more than they quoted. That, I let go, at the time and didn't do a review. HOWEVER, today we had another contractor out to put in a front door on our home and to look at the trim around one of the doors the Marx had installed. According to this other installer, who is very reputable, Marx did not install this door correctly, leading to some issues with water intrusion. I know sometimes different contractors/installers can have differing views on one another. However, the installer today took one look at the installation job done by Marx and made the assumption we had installed it ourselves. That's pretty bad.

We hired Marx Construction after a tree fell on our house. Their bid was competitive. They called us back and followed up quickly. They had to do a variety of jobs to fix the damage, including brickwork, roofing, drywall patching, painting and texturing, and wood siding repair. They came to do the work when they said they would, and they did it in a timely manner. We were happy with the quality of the work. The workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. We would hire them again.

Was supposed to have someone stop out today at 10am to look at my mothers house which she was wanting some remodeling down. Waited for over an hour for someone to show up. Finally gave up. Would have been nice to have at least received a phone call saying they weren’t coming. I guess they didn’t want her business.
