Folks, do your homework before signing any contract with roofing companies who A) aren’t local and B) haven’t been in business for many, many years. I’ve been in the industry for years. Yes, your new roof may look good for a while but it can take several months, if not a couple years, before the poor workmanship will begin to show. Also, watch out for the up-sells. The pushy sales people are NOT the ones installing these roofs. They make a commission from each sale and have been trained to aggressively attain business. There is a HUGE markup in the roofing world and a lot of various items can be added to pad an estimate. Many of the cut-rate roofing companies will post yard signs in neighborhoods to try and generate copycat sales. It’s a scam. Don’t be fooled by an attractive, friendly salesperson in a professionally wrapped truck. A reputable roofing company doesn’t have to go door-to-door to generate business; it’s done through repeat business and local word of mouth. Do your homework!!

Be watchful and warned! They'll say that they can fix your roof by submitting a claim to your insurance company a no money coming out of your pocket. That was not my experience. I ended paying for the deductible. After agreeing to a monthly payment plan they harrased me almost weekly to payoff the balance. The work done was not even worth 1/4 of the cost. I could have replaced the shingles myself if I would've known better.

American Dream responded to a problem that was not part of the original roof replacement, work was completed quickly and professionally. I was very pleased with the service and the communications as the job was completed. I highly recommended and appreciate all their efforts.

I'm getting really tired of the door to door salesmen (women). Not only do they ignore our NO SOLICITING sign clearly visible next to our door bell; I've had the same saleswoman come to me twice within a week. No matter how many times I tell the saleswoman we are not interested and have been quoted by another company, she continues her sales pitch.

He was able to inspect my roof the same day. Scott worked with me and walked me through the entire process, including filing a claim with my insurance. He made sure that my needs were taken care of and went above and beyond what I had expected. He handled everything for me which made it so much easier for me since I had never been through this process before. From the time that he first made contact until the completion of my new roof, he was upfront about everything and took care of me very quickly.
