Michael, Jeremiah, and the team at Bel Air Construction converted an old porch on our historic home into a beautiful new multi-purpose room: powder room, laundry room, dog room and mud room. We have increased the useful footprint and the value of our home at the same time. Bel Air Construction was accessible, responsive and prompt, and above all meticulously neat and tidy in their work. We will use Bel Air Construction again.

We are two years into a Kitchen/Ground Floor Remodel done by Bel Air Construction in 2017. There are pros and cons of the process upon reflection Michael (Owner) is a very hands-on part of the process. In fact without Michael, I doubt we would have moved forward and accepted Bel Air Construction as our contractor. Krista (Senior Project Designer) did an excellent job with 3D CAD construction and really framed out allowing us to determine what was necessary for design and construction of the given living space. Paul (Contractor) did an excellent job of keeping communication up through the process and making us aware of issues and/or complications that had arisen. Most importantly, his team finished the process on-time as per the agreement. However after two years, I’ve noticed flaws in construction that have me concerned to work with Bel Air Construction moving forward. These flaws included: • Yellowing and Cracking of Caulking/Sealant Adjoining Tile and Crown Molding • Drywall Wall/Ceiling Cracks and Seams Showing Up • Drafts allowed into Main Kitchen Area from Outside due to poor insulation behind cabinets. • Flooring Recommended by Bel Air Construction as being durable for family use showing dings/dent/scratches after less than two years. • Cabinetry Recommended by Bel Air Construction showing dings/dents/scratches. Ultimately, we chose Bel Air construction due to their design and belief in their quality workmanship. There was an associated higher price with that agreement compared to other contractors. Ultimately, I cannot in good faith say that the increased price was worth it compared to other contractors based on what we have seen to date with the renovation.

We just finished what I believe is our 12th project with Bel Air Construction. From the very first to this last one, it has been a pleasure to work with Michael and the rest of team. Beginning with the initial consultation through design, construction and project completion their professionalism makes you feel confident that you've make the right choice in home improvement contractors.

Michael and his team were great to partner with from start to finish! The team he leads were always prompt, efficient, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We had an open 2 story living room converted into additional living space above. Michael and his team stuck to their timeframe (even worked on the weekend if needed), and knocked out the project on time in 4 weeks! I highly recommend Bel Air Construction if you are considering a home renovation!
