We had Merit out for an estimate on replacing our patio cover after a windstorm ripped it down. They were our fourth estimate as we had several other bigger companies we found in Reach magazine come out that were well above our budget. The quality of their materials were the same, if not better, than some of their competitors at a fraction of the cost and they had color options that no one else did. Their salesman Kevin was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about installation and didn't make us feel pressured into a sale like some others did. They worked with our hectic schedule and kept us informed the entire way through the process. Their installers were impressive to watch as they erected the new patio cover, both very hard workers and the finished product looks amazing. We are overall very satisfied with our new aluminum awning and look forward to having them enclose it in the future. Thanks guys!

We had Merit give us an estimate for a project and decided to use a different company that gave us a lesser price for the exact same product. When the person from Merit called me a few days later to ask if we had decided I told him we chose the company with the lower cost. He asked me who the company was and when I told him he got mad at me and told me their product was not as good as his and hung up on me. Based on that it appears we made a good choice to use a different company. ***In answer to the company's reply below...Contrary to their denial the guy did hang up on me. I have nothing to gain by lying about this. I would not have left a review of the company if the guy had not acted like that when he called me. Normally I only leave positive feedback for companies but that call shows a serious problem with the character of this company and I feel others should beware.

Merit construction did an excellent job with the construction of our metal awning for our traveling trailer. Offered the best price and did an job. Was there every day until the job was done. I would recommend them to anyone.
