My wife and I purchased a home that needed a new roof. The sellers agent recommended we use Kowal's roofing so he gave us quote and said he'd do the job for us. We were very stressed at the time of the purchase (this is our first house) so it was a relief to know this was going to be taken care of by someone who came highly recommended. Shortly after providing us with a quote, Kowal stopped responding to my phone calls. For whatever reason, he did not want to do the job anymore. Maybe he just got too busy? Or maybe his company was not capable of the work? I will never know the reason because he lacked the courtesy to inform us that he didn't want the job. Kowal may or may not be a great roofer but he is definitely terrible at communicating.
