The visit was on time and the technician was polite, however, I need to forward my previous email to get the response and got the job declined because "I have enough prices on that job already" when I was just trying to get the quote clarified and compare it among others. What a bad response and sad ending... as we were already planning to go ahead with the quote considering the nice visit and good reviews, and all they need to do is to make it clear on the quoted price. Just describing the facts and a warning for others.

Excellent plumbers. Fast, efficient, highly organized team. Detailed options, and breakdown of costs. Excellent back office, great communication. Arrived bang on time, a did exactly as discussed. Left it clean and tidy. Came in well under estimate. Delighted. Will use again without hesitation.

A Southern Plumbing van passed me incredibly closely while I was cycling south on Taranaki St. As I approached behind the van at a red light on the intersection with Courtney Place, the light turned green and the driver raced off honking his horn and pulling the fingers at me behind him. That kind of dangerous and totally needless abuse really puts me off using their business. [EDIT: I've edited my review based on the super quick and positive response from Southern Plumbing's owner below. Great to see that approach! We've all gotta share the road.]
