Legendary Roofers

Barnetts undertook 14 weeks of roofing work for me during January to April 14...the estimate more than doubled due to "extras" and they would not be pinned down to providing me with costs in advance...they constantly asked for advances and as a result the job went from 6 weeks to 14 weeks and 7K to 16K.....there were some extras I did ask them to do but probably about 3K worth.....the quality of the work was good but towards the end the job was rushed and they made a few minor mistakes which my architect identified and they would not return to site to correct despite promising to do so...they left my site in a shocking mess.....they left 200 excess roof tiles up the scaffold so it cost me 200.00 to remove the excess from the scaffold and remove rubbish dumped at my site even from other jobs......I asked for some form of work guarantee after paying so much but my requests have been ignored...so I would not recommend them ........sadly the work quality good but let down by bad attitude.......if you used them make sure you get fixed price and dont pay them in stages or advance as I did....they asked me to trust them but I was let down sadly......
