Walkers have just completed fitting a new front door at my mother's home, plus erecting a canopy over the door and removing the single step to the outside and replacing it with 3 steps. The fitting and building work was done by Steve, working alone, and completed by him to a very high standard. There was also some alteration done to the area just inside the door which was to make the entrance more level and reduce the height of the step on the inside. The end result has been to greatly enhance the look of the entrance area of her home but, more importantly, has made access in and out of her home much easier for her. Following a hip replacement a few years ago she had been finding access increasingly problematic. The work we wanted done was planned to radically improve things for her, and the end result has achieved just that. We are very pleased with results. The Good part - excellent sales man Dave not pushy - knows his stuff and a very friendly nice guy. Patient and gave good advice. Excellent fitters - Sam and Liam did a great job and my doors and windows are perfect. The doors and windows are of excellent quality and fitted superbly. Well done to the fitters who worked their backsides off and grafted to get them done: they did a brilliant job and my doors and windows are fabulous! Bad - poor customer service - hadn’t got booked me in and I had to call to confirm, the job wasn’t even booked in despite me paying deposit months before. I had to then chase and get cross on the phone, they didn’t seem to care I wasn’t booked in and I had to chase to confirm the dates. I wasn’t even sure if they would turn up! Not good when you are spending thousands. This side of their business needs improving.

Great company from start to finish. I had a conservatory fitted about 6 months ago. I have to say it wasnt the cheapest quote but we certainly did the right thing. The salesman were great, surveyors knew his stuff. The builders turned up when they were supposed to. It took a little longer than originally told but this was due to the weather. The finished product was simply amazing and we have had so much use out of it already. With the recent heat the doors expanded slightly we phoned uo and with a day we had an engineer come out and fix our very small and only issue. I have and would recommend Walkers to everyone i know.
