Repairs done very expensively resulted in damage through water ingress caused by bits of lead and Plate wedged between tiles. Very amateur job. Got some professionals round now to put the job right.

First class repairs done to my roof after the Beast from the East ripped the tiles from my roof. They even found matching tiles that were smashed. Pleasant people to do business with, I would recommend them.

Called out C J Hughes to put right our roof after a well know business failed to fix our roofing problems. They came when they said they would and did exactly what they quoted for and solved our problems. The workmen were very polite and cleaned up really well after the work, we could hardly tell they had been. Would definitely use again and highly recommend their services.

In carrying out some repairs to our roof, Mr Hughes workmen dislodged some tiles which were bedded in cement. This resulted in a severe water leakage into our lounge causing a lot of damage. They agreed to mend the roof and to rectify the water damage. A repair to the roof was made but this did not resolve the leaking problem and no action was taken to repair the water damage. We then made a number of telephone calls, e-mail and depot visit to Mr Hughes asking him to visit to try to resolve the problem but to no avail. For over two rainy and sometimes stormy weeks we suffered having a badly leaking roof. Eventually he did send two workmen, but they just said the leakage was caused by our tiles being porous. This was very doubtful, but they were not prepared to do anything so I said OK give me an estimate to have the roof retiled. They left us again with a leaking roof and after waiting over a further week we got a professional roofing contractor in to resolve our problems.

I asked C.J. Hughes & Sons ltd to repair a leaky roof, we received a quote and then gave them the go-ahead. After paying nearly £1000 the work did not solve the leak several attempts were made to contact C.J. Hughes & Sons ltd and resolve this issue, sadly to no avail. Since then I have had to have another roofing company out to solve the problem, to which i was informed that nearly half the work in the original quote that was paid for was not done by C.J. Hughes & Sons ltd.
