We needed a total roof replacement and had Porter Roofing come out to bid an estimate. Ray came out and gave us an estimate and told us that once we gave a deposit and signed the contract he would get a tarp up on the roof to protect our roof and to prevent any other pieces of the roof blowing off. We paid the deposit and never heard another word from the company. I continued to have pieces of the roof come off in the storms which damaged my car. I requested to cancel our contract since they never followed through with their promise to tarp the roof, and I now had damage to my car as well. They didn't communicate with us at all in between giving the deposit and my request to cancel. When I requested to cancel they began calling and their job manager Norbert and Ray both admitted that they had issues with communication with us and other clients as it was right around Christmas but that had nothing to do with us clients. They told me they were going to keep our deposit even though they never did what they said they were going to do and have yet to return our deposit. I'm warning anyone thinking of using their company that they have bad business practices and you should seek other roof companies out. Do not use this company as they don't do what they say they are going to do and they don't communicate with clients after you give them money.
