Please read our reviews for the people that are actual customers and not sales people or the competition Anyone can fake a review and it’s not against any law My cell number said I had a call from “scam likely” in the phone number and I answered hello? He actually took the time to write us a one star review beacuase he called my cell phone while I was with a customer. Crazy. I knew he was a sales guy and I said “hello” and didn’t want too take the time to talk to him while I was with a customer ...Really??? Please Read the reviews from who we actually worked for we get five star reviews everything else is competitors trying to knock out ratings down or really sad people with an agenda I personally have learned to not look at review with any real weight anymore We have five star customers that’s all that’s important. If you meet us you will know what we’re about in ten seconds or less Peace!!!!

Called to get a quote and the gentleman answered HELLO. Can't do business with a company who dont identify the company name. Shady...

Dan came out promptly to my home to provide a quote. He was able to communicate via text with me the same day he provided quote. But that is it. Dan hasn't returned any of my emails or responded to any of my texts since then. If he didn't want the job could have just let me know. Unprofessional to say the least. Cant imagine what it would be like to actually engage and work with this company. Buyer beware. Allison: Thank you for your reply. It only supports what I said in my review. Poor communication is my major complaint. If a customer is supposed to call one number to get a quote, but call a different number when that customer wants to give you money is a VERY important detail that Dan failed to mention. I am a little confused about you mentioning something about insurance in your reply. I did not say anything about insurance nor did I seek insurance information from Dan. I stand by my review.

I hired another contractor to work on my roof and after the roof still leaked found out they were not properly licensed and we couldn't get them to come back We were referred by a friend to Dan Downey Dan is extremely knowledgeable and taught me and my wife a lot about not only our roof issues but some construction problems we were having with another gc We didn't know but Dan was a building inspector for palm beach and had a lot of insight and experience in construction that wound up saving us money. He fixed our roof and knew how to fix some structural issues we had in the front of our house as well Great company, great guy give them a call.

After Mr. Downey has repaired our roof leaking three times since last year, I feel impelled to thank him in this public setting and to let others know that he has made our life less stressful every time after the discovery of the leaks. All three times, he came to inspect our roof the second day, took time to explain the issues and why it happened at such spot, and promptly gave us a reasonable estimate. All three times, he sent his crew to fix our roof within a few day and they finished the job on the same day. I like his crew. They are professional, communicative and considerate. They took their shoes off upon entering our home and cleaned up debris when the job was done. I saw that they opened up a wide area to inspect and fix the issues. I saw that they took pictures and then discussed with Downey regarding the issues and repairs. We feel very fortunate that we found Downey Constracting Inc., and we feel comfortable knowing that our aging roof will be taken care of by this company with a professional, very knowledgeable, highly efficient and caring owner and his capable crew.
