5963flyer review about company Shearin Roofing Co

I purchased a home from a family in Monroe, NC almost two years ago. They had the roof replaced in 2010. It came with a 7 year warranty for the workmanship and 30 years on the shingles. I have had NUMEROUS leaks ever since I moved into the home. My sellers gave me the Shearins contact information and told me to feel free to share the poor work done on the roof. They did indeed come to my home on one occasion, but the roof STILL leaks. I have another PROFESSIONAL roofer come out and told me that the work done on the roof was SUB-PAR and just shouldn't have been done the way it was. Why would a company write a warranty and then say that they don't honor it, if it's a new homeowner?? After all, it's a roof. What would being a new homeowner possibly do to damage a roof?? I would NOT recommend this company! Being in business over 40 years only works if you do a good job. My next course of action will be with the BBB.
