Thomas Olesh review about company Augusta Roofing and Siding

The work, I imagine, was good. Time will tell, but they have good reviews. They tried to make the process easy by inspecting while we were at work. The problem is, they jumped the gun on actually doing the repairs. When they gave me the results of their inspection, recommended repairs and estimate, I told them it sounded good but I needed to talk to my wife first to make sure we're on the same page and ready to have the work done. I was told I'd be getting a call to schedule the repairs. My wife and I spoke and decided we weren't going to have the repairs done. The next phone call I got was them telling me they'd done the repairs and wanted to collect the payment. When reminded that I'd said I need to talk with my wife first, they actually told me that doesn't mean we weren't ready to have the work done. I beg to differ. They also told me whether or not we scheduled the repairs, the agreement to have it scheduled was enough to say we wanted the work done. I had agreed to a call back to schedule, not to have the work done. They told me those are the same thing. Mama's wrong again! The phone call I was promised is where I would've informed them we wouldn't be going forward with the work. They dropped the ball there, not me. Who just shows up to do expensive repairs with no scheduled time to have the work completed, no verbal agreement and no written agreement?? And then talks over the person you are wrongfully demanding money from? This was our experience. I acknowledge they tried to make it easy and likely did good work, but the management of this of all wrong and poorly done. The demanding money was poorly done. The threatening to put a lien on our house was poorly done. Just all around wrong. Two stars instead of one because the work was likely good.
