James Hampson review about company Augusta Roofing and Siding

Had two separate contractors do the work and estimate so it didn't seem like the one who conducted the work could be completely prepared for the job. He replaced one side of flashing when I was told he would replace all three sides. After the job, he left without notifying me. The contractor, James, and Will from Augusta Roofing and Siding called me 6 times between 8 and 10 pm on a Tuesday night and left 2 voicemails and a text message while I was trying to sleep in order to collect payment. When I called them the next morning, they said I could not pay with check and wanted me to pay credit/debit over the phone. I said I wasn't comfortable passing that info via phone so I had Will come to my house after work. When he showed up I had my debit card ready and he said, "Oh, I thought you were paying with check. There is a fee with card." That whole situation could have been avoided with just a simple invoice in the mail. I can't speak for the quality of work yet, but it seems like it's geared more towards temporary fix rather than permanent. Time will tell. Update: Will says he provided a discount even though I paid the full price that he quoted. I stand corrected about the contact attempts. I received four phone calls and a text message between the two from 8:55 to 9:00 pm. After last night's rain, I noticed that there is still a leak coming from one side of the chimney. I'm changing this review from 3 stars to 1 star for quality of customer service and work.
