Christina Moehring review about company Gold Roofing Inc - Loveland, Longmont, Fort Collins

Got hit by a really bad hail storm so had companies calling and knocking on my door all day and night. Really liked the sales guy as he was nice and very low pressure. Took a video on my roof to show us the damage which I liked. We added a ridge vent which is apparently not done too often around here. I informed the guy about gable venting with a ridge vent and he had no clue which was disappointing. The roofers finished the roof but didn't put the beauty course over the flashing so we had to call them to come back. Noticed a few weeks later that they forgot one 2ft section of beauty course at the very top of our roof that you can only see if you are looking. Called to tell our sales guy. Found out that the sales guy had been fired. Well, we have now called 3 times over a week and can't get anyone to call us back. They could at least acknowledge the call even if they can't get to it right away. The office is not run very professionally and I don't know that I would recommend them to friends or neighbors. Side notes: The crew was trying to use an old microwave to heat their lunch on the side of my house and kept popping the breaker. They kept knocking on my door to reset it. After twice, I told them no. They clearly did not know how to use a circular saw as the cut opening for the ridge vent is crooked to a point of ridiculousness. It took them 3 days to get it done and they still had to come back. My neighbor had a different crew and they finished in 1 day so there seems to be a lack of consistency among crews they use. They say that they are all employees but I think that is a lie.
