Juan Castro review about company Baytown Roofing Contractors

Positive and really Negative review. I called on a Wednesday and was greeted a nice lady who was professional. She said someone would call me back Thursday afternoon. Chris Montes called me and told me to check on something before he came out. One of our ceilings had 2 wet spots and he wanted me to check to see if the AC drip pan had overflowed in the attic. It didn't. He came out on Friday morning and checked the attic, then the roof then the attic again and concluded the roof needed to be sealed and that would be $775 and he could do it saturSat morning. I was under the understanding he would replace all shingles and other materials in that area. But he really came out here with a caulking gun and sealed the roof with $5-10 Lowe's roof sealant and was done in less than an hour sealing different shingles, skipping a few in-between. When I asked him how much the invoice would be that I was receiving, he said $875 and when I complained, I was emailed one for $650 which I feel is 10 times the price I should have been charged. Chris Montes was friendly but this particular contractor or company overcharges. It was a half hour or 1 hr job with $5-10 sealant used only so maybe $40-60. Will not use again.
