Jarren Brown review about company Strong Brothers Construction, L.L.C.

Our experience with "Strong Brothers" was not a positive experience at all. We hired them to reside our home and replace a piece of flashing on the roof, which was expected to take a week but ended up taking 5. They were not dependable, professional, nor quality driven. Their employees usually worked 5 hours a day, and took a lunch break out of that. They left their own personal trash around the house, didn't pick up after themselves, burned a piece of our building materials and then carved their names into it. They left the old metal in the grass for a full 5 weeks killing the grass in our front yard, even after I asked them to move it before it damaged the grass. They didn't show up on days they were supposed to, didn't return phone calls made to the office. The owners were supposed to show up for a final walk around and no showed, didn't even bother to call. The roof they "fixed" leaked three differently times resulting in drywall damage and me missing 2 days of work to keep buckets emptied and towels on the floor dry. At one point they brought a tarp covered in holes to cover the roof, which was blown off in a few hours. It took them 3 different times and they supposedly fixed it each time but it continued to leak. The final time the owners actually came out to fix it themselves and it leaked once again! We ended up fixing it ourselves and not paying for that portion of the job. Their work is not of good quality. There are hammer marks all over in the fascia, nails not driven in all the way, wires not placed back correctly, and caulking dripped on the new siding. When brought the the attention of the owner, he himself stated "this crew had never done window trim before so I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did." Their communication was poor. We weren't updated on progress through the process unless I emailed them for an update. I called the office and left a message with the receptionist who stated they would call me back but they never did. As mentioned before, they no showed the final walk through. We hired a contractor to do this because we expected it to be quick and easy. In reality, it was the opposite. It was a headache and a major hassle. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are competitive but it isn't worth the little bit of money you save. Overall, the siding job was finished and the new color does look nice, but if you really look into the details you can tell they didn't have a lot of experience. I understand they are a newer company and everyone starts somewhere but, they need a boss to lead and teach them and unfortunately I don't feel like they have that.
