Lance Schart review about company LandMark Exteriors, Inc

I am high disappointed with my experience with Landmark Exteriors Libertyville, with the constant lack of follow through and communication from their team. We paid Landmark Exteriors nearly $8,700 for a new, customer-made Simpson wood exterior door and side lights. The door was ordered in early February 2019 and installed in late May 2019. Then we waited. • Landmark was less than accommodating relative to installation: you have to work around THEIR schedule. • The installers show up HOURS late--despite confirmations • An installer cut his finger off in our front yard! • Landmark stained the trim and brick mold the WRONG color; took days to correct • The quality of the Simpson door is marginal; not worth the $8,700 price • The custom bronze handles are mounted crooked • Landmark would not initially agree to offer a discount for the delays, mistakes or inconveniences Landmark has offered in writing to compensate me with a gift card for this review.
