It was a bad situation but they made it better! "On or around January 15, I had a sewage backup/overflow or “poopy water” as the plumber called it. After the Mitigation Company completed their part it was time for the renovation. Drywall, flooring, plumbing paint & carpet all needed to be replaced. My house was a mess. My insurance company told me they could recommend a company or I could find a contractor- I was skeptical thinking if they worked for the Insurance Company I would have to fight to get my house back up to the way it was, but I reluctantly let them recommend a contractor. Boy was I ever wrong, Lance Howard, Howards General Contracting, came in and did the initial estimate. He even pointed out some things that I did not even think of (those things are called quarter rounds). He was efficient and professional and answered all of my questions. He was great and informed me the next step was to turn it over to his Project Manager. The Project Manager, Mike Daniels, is just a professional joy to work with. From our first meeting at the construction scene (I was walking on a concrete slab, missing drywalls and my Master Bedroom and Bath were gutted) to patiently walking down every aisle in Lowes and painstakingly explaining to me why cheap is not always better, to the completion of the project. I was so pleased with the company that I allowed them to quote and complete other construction projects. Don’t let Mike fool you, not only does he know construction he has a designer’s eye for color and detail. Simply put it’s refreshing to work with nice people- I am well pleased with this company, entire staff and my bathroom and floors look amazing.
