Dylan Pouley review about company Harley Exteriors, Inc.

This company is dishonest, manipulative and predatory. We had Harley exteriors come out to give us a quote on a new roof. The visit took three hours. The entire time the representative was polite, and very nice, but almost robotic in his presentation. He was going to “sell” us on every aspect of their company and their product. At the end, the quote we were given was $72,000. The quote was written out on a legal pad, was a singular number, and the rep refused to itemize the quote. We we were also told we HAD to finance the roof through their lender. Then the rep asked if we were ready to sign a contract with them, right then and there. When we said “no,” we wanted to get some other quotes, they lowered the price, $6,000. We said “no” again. Harley rep: “well, you are in luck, we never do this.” They lowered the price $6000, again. The rep then told us that once they left our house, the offer to lower the price, was no longer an option. We were polite, and thanked him, and he left. Since that night, we have gotten 3 quotes. Every single quote we have gotten, has been $50,000 less than Harley Exteriors. The last company, who we decided to go with, was $60,000 less than Harley Exteriors, for the EXACT SAME PRODUCT AND INSTALLATION. One week later, Harley Exteriors has called me 9 times. I spoke to their sales manager this evening. He offered to match the quote we got, from the company we are going with. I told him I was appalled that they wasted our time with their initial quote and presentation. Do not use Harley Exteriors. In fact, beware of Harley Exteriors.
