I was charged $150.00 to replace one shingle after Hurricane Florence. The two roofers were there less than 10 minutes. When I called to ask if $150.00 was a fair price for such a repair (one shingle), I was told the price includes the repair being an emergency situation, their time, and their gas. When I called for the repair, I did not say the one shingle replacement was an emergency. It took days to get the repair done, so how emergent is that? I should have gotten a quote before the work was done. A valuable life lesson. I would not recommend them to do an entire roof if one shingle replacement costs $150.00. Needless to say, the check is in the mail!
