Kevin S review about company Ferguson Roofing

Updated review: from 2 stars to 4 stars. While we had issues during installation (see below), we had a leak in the garage when it would rain about 2 years after the roof installation. Ferguson roofing came to check out the leak. The issue was two-fold. Part of the issue was how the flashing was installed during installation, but the other issue was the original siding and its backing causing a wick effect. They went the extra mile and fixed both issues even though the siding was not their responsibility. The measure of a good company is standing behind their work. And this case, they went beyond that. Original review: I was referred to them by my insurance agent due to hail damage. I signed an agreement with them at the end of June and the work was finally completed properly at the beginning of December. It took over 5 months to get a roof, siding on one side of the house, and gutter covers? This started as a good experience, but ended as I just wanted to get it over with. I may refer them for roofing since the work was done well. The siding work was questionable. The gutter cover work was really poor. The main reason I would not recommend Ferguson was because of the very poor communication. I had to contact Ferguson over 8 times whether it was poor workmanship, phone calls not returned, or delayed appointments with no follow-up as well as getting the owner involved. The owner did make it right with some concessions but I would have been much happier without concessions and it done right the first time & in a timely manner. I felt I had to manage the job instead of the company I hired doing it.
