Antoinette Dumalo review about company Amex Roofing and Drainage Ltd
In April 2017 Amex was paid a $1000 deposit to do do some minor roofing repairs. After making several calls, in June we were told work would begin in a couple of weeks. By late fall, no work had been started so we canceled and requested our deposit back. After several unanswered calls and an email, a small claim was initiated with the B.C. Civil Resolution Tribunal. A binding judgement has been made against Amex and there is currently an outstanding payment order in effect and due for $1110.50. Amex, previously a reputable long term North Shore roofer, closed operations a few years ago. Sean Teather, previous owner of North Shore roofing closed operations and reopened under the Amex name. Note that North Shore Roofing still maintains an active website and telephone number but is not licensed to operate in North Vancouver.
