Alice Davidson review about company GHC Roofing

Like Laura Dean, if I could give GHC Roofing a zero rating I would. My HOA hired this company to re-roof our community. The day that my townhome was re-roofed I found a Corona Extra bottle cap on my front walkway that had obviously just fallen off my roof where the roofers were working that day. In addition, one of their large vehicles climbed up on my sidewalk to use a lift to get the shingles up to the roofers on the roof. When it pulled away, I had two large tire marks consisting of some heavy white glue and dark gray tar. The site manager, Luiz, tried to spray it off using a solvent. It did nothing. Another worker came by later to scrub it off using a solvent. It did not work. I contacted Luiz to let him know that the marks were still there, and he told me he would come by on Saturday morning at 9:00 am to fix the problem. He blew me off and never bothered to call. When I called him again, he texted me that the company did not make any promises about leaving the property the way they found it and that nothing further would be done. The next day I found 42 nails that had been washed down from my gutter that night during a thunderstorm, and couldn't help but wonder how many of my neighbors had endured the same negligence from the roofers. When I called GHC and spoke with the owner, Sammy, he told me that anyone could have left that Corona Extra bottle cap on my walkway and refused to take any responsibility. He said he would come out on the next day to see what could be done about the truck marks. I doubt he will show up! Do not use GHC Roofing. They show no responsibility or accountability and are extremely unprofessional.
