OlDurtyJ review about company R D Hackman & Sons

We had R.D. Hackman do over $17,000 worth of work on our home a few years ago. Very happy. An issue as come up that we wanted them to take a look at plus perhaps get a new roof. Called on a Thursday morning, and had to leave a voice mail for an estimate request. Nothing back on Thursday. Nothing all day Friday. I double checked to make sure the company wasn't on a vacation, and nowhere on the website indicated that normal business was interrupted. Now, before I continue I would like to say that I am fully aware of schedules and projects being planned. I had no thought, or expectation that anyone would be out in the next few weeks to even give an estimate. We were expecting to wait. I get construction. What I DID expect was a phone call. Some sort of communication. Even if the response was, "we are booked until 2020", so be it. It's all on me for calling about a project in the summer. But I wanted a company that we liked, had work done from and trusted. Waiting would not be an issue. No call after two business days. My conclusion is they don't care or have sooooo much business they can pick and choose who to contact. Don't let our meaningless project get in the way of your obvious greatness Hackman! It's 2019, there are plenty of others that will be happy to take our money! Call people back, or start closing the door.
