Andrew Lau review about company Metro Renovator

Excellent contractor and crew. I found them using Angie's list and they were one of several top contractors that was recommended for my area. And sure enough they were. It was a pleasure working with this contractor. The Roofing crew and Jobsite Manager Chris was very courteous and friendly, he walked thru what the crew was doing, the materials being used and if there were areas that needed replacement sheathing. He showed me pics he took on his phone of my roof. He made recommendations and observations and made sure to ask me if I wanted it done. He was there for a majority of the time, not in his truck, but up on the roof with his roofing crew. The roofing crew themselves were well prepared and experienced, they had all the proper equipment and tools, well organized, fast and efficient. I always look at how the contractors layout their tools and equipment and these folks were organized. So that is a plus for me. Even though I had my roof done in one day, I never felt that they were rushing but working at experienced roofers pace. They started at 8AM and was about finished at about 3PM. At the end they did a thorough clean up all around and did magnetic sweepers several times around the entire house and then did several walkthru the areas afterwards, then they came out with the blowers around my house. I have to say they were more than thorough in making sure we did not have any materials or screws (very important) left in the driveway. My driveway was cleaner that before they started work. And then in two days, the gutter subcontractor came to install the new gutters and downspout. They were fast and quick as well. The came in the time slot give and actually finished in the estimated time frame of 3 hrs too. What I really like was that Metro Renovators were committed to the project even from the beginning with an outstanding proposal estimate package hand delivered to my house and email too, with all the catalog brochure on the roofing materials that is available. I didn't expect that, I got home and there it was, my wife said they personally dropped it off. Looking thru it, I had mentioned I wanted GAF, so their proposal had GAF materials and they are also certified GAF roofers certificate which was also in their proposal package, insurance, and references too. We went back and forth several times on email with questions, and Raymond was responsive and courteous each time. Even when I was asking for revised proposals, changing materials. When I selected them from several proposals/quotes from other contractors, we set up a date and time to meet and he was right on time that he said he would be there. Let me say that again, he was right on time. He walked with my around my house, and he had his GAF Roof Demo kit with him, and he walked me thru all the materials that was in his proposals and showed me other materials too. Raymond was very patient and I never felt uncomfortable asking questions or rushed.. I looked at the materials and tools in his truck bed, it was organized and clean too. Overall Metro Renovator did a great job, and far far away from those horror stories of contractors nightmares you hear about or see in TV. These guys are gems in the rough. Great experience with Metro Renovators for my new roof. I am glad t have found them.
