Viccar Dolot review about company Von Kensinger Roofing - Slate Roofing, Copper Roofing

We signed a contract with Von Kensinger to change the roof of our house. Unbeknownst to us, without asking us or even notifying us, he sold this contract to a small crew of very young, inexperienced fellows. It was a nightmare. The first night it rained, and we had to place buckets in closets & rooms: this crew had failed to secure the tarp over the roof and the rain poured into our house. The day after they finished roofing, the area aorund the chimney started to leak abundantly: they had torn the flashing. Finally, Von Kensinger's own crew (older & more experienced) had to come and fix the problem. We signed a contract with Von Kensinger, who came highly recommended; we did not sign a contract with a group of clumsy kids with very limited experience. We felt cheated. Afterwards, Von Kensinger did send us a handyman who painted over the water stains in the ceiling of several rooms. But no one compensated us for all the distress their sloppy & unprofessional actions caused us. This happened a couple of years ago, but to this day, every time it rains hard, the entire household wakes up to check the ceilings. Avoid Von Kensinger: he's unreliable and deceitful.
