Victoria Miller review about company j and j construction

During Hurricane Sandy we lost shingles on our roof. We had the roof repaired by a different company and were told that we should replace the roof the following year. In the Spring of 2013 we decided to get several estimates for the work we needed done. A friend recommended J&J Construction to us. We called and spoke to Jody, and Jason came out the next day. After meeting Jason and getting an estimate we decided to hire J&J Construction to replace the roof and install new gutters. We also wanted to install a fan in the attic and a new fan in our bathroom. They gave us the best price and best warranty. We also felt confident knowing that a friend had referred them to us. Jason told us that he would not be able to get to the job until the Fall, but if we had any problems before that time, to give them a call and we would be covered. In September, we called to get an update on where we were on the schedule. We were told they would be out to do the work the 3rd week in October, and that is when the job was done. We had a variety of issues that had to be addressed, because the roof and gutters that were on our house were not installed properly 20 years ago. For example, we did not have proper ventilation and there was a lot of mold and soft wood on one section of our roof. The replacement ended up taking longer than originally estimated, but Jason wanted to make sure that everything was done properly this time, so that we would not have any problems in the future. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done! The crew was great! They arrived on time, worked around our schedule, were willing to put in the extra time necessary and did a great job cleaning up! We would recommend J&J Construction and plan to use them for our home improvements in the future. They go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right!
