Prominent was incredibly friendly and quick when a tree fell on my house this summer. I was very pleased with the salesman that came out and inspected my house. He did not try oversell me on anything! He was genuine, and very personable! I recommend calling Prominent Construction if you have any home remodeling needs!

I am extremely pleased with the customer service and installation of my home's shingles. They were damaged by bad hail storm. The representative (Pat R.) inspected the roof and explained the damage. Some areas that were damaged were in danger of leaking so Pat performed temporary repairs - BEFORE I had decided if I would be using Prominent Construction to do the job. He then explained how to proceed with making an insurance claim. He arranged to meet with the insurance adjuster to point out damaged areas and make the case for the claim. At that point the vast majority of the project was covered by my homeowner's insurance. The installation took place a few weeks later. The installation was done very well and they cleaned the yard of ALL debris. Every single person was courteous and helpful. The work on my house was completed last fall. I was so impressed with this company that last week I met again with Pat R. to provide a bid for my mother's house. This was NOT an insurance claim. The quote was fair and complete. When I first met Prominent Construction's Pat Ruegemer I was a little apprehensive. He knocked on the door, introduced himself to my wife and mentioned a hailstorm that we had late last August. He asked if we checked our roof after the storm and further asked if we minded if he could check it and that it was free. She told him to go ahead. When he came back down, my wife told me to take a look at the pictures that Pat took of our roof. What I saw shocked me. Pat had pictures of our roof that showed significant damage to the shingles and our turbines. I had been up on our roof earlier last spring when I cleaned our chimney for the fireplace. There was no damage at that time. I clearly remember the storm that Pat had talked about. It woke me up at about 4:30 a.m. After I got up in the morning I saw that my wife's garden took a beating, especially the hostas, they were shreaded. I stood in the yard, looked up at the roof and saw nothing so I assumed that everything was O.K., I was wrong. Pat asked if he could be out when our insurance adjuster came out. The adjuster agreed with Pat after assessing our damage. Now it was time for the next step. I had never heard of Prominent Construction. They were out of the twin cities and I live north of St. Cloud near Rice. I checked them out and found out that they had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and that they were Preferred Contractors.They had good reviews. I have always been suspicious of possible scams and the question of who to hire was very real. Do you know somebody who has a good reputation as a roofer? Or do you know somebody who knows somebody else? Pat came across as somebody down to earth and that you could trust. He was the reason that my roof damage was known. I sensed an obligation to him if it made sense. I hired Prominent Construction. Pat's detailing of the events and timeline that was to follow was spot on. This is very difficult this time of the year when the weather can throw you a curve ball. The materials were delivered on the day that was expected and there was a large shingling crew in my yard shortly after 7:00 a.m. the next morning. My house needed shingling as did my attached garage and a large separate garage. Everyone in this crew had a job. They were professionals at their craft, doing perfect work and they kept their noses to the grindstone. By the end of the day they were finished with everything including a very nice job of cleaning up. I was relieved because there was a threat of rain that night. All considered, a perfect job with excellent workmanship, a considerate crew with the homeowner's best interest in mind, and overall a wonderful experience. Would I hire Prominent Construction again?
