I have nothing good to say. We had to get our bathroom wall and ceiling fixed after plumbing repairs. We needed the bathroom to get completed within a few days. He charged us $950.00 for a 4' X 4' bathroom which included a one wall and a ceiling. He assured us that it would be done in a very timely manner in accordance with our request. He sent over an inexperienced employee that took approximately 20 hrs. to do this very small job. Twice he said it was completed and in the end I ended up paying someone $200.00 to complete the job correctly. The owner was a fast talker in the beginning with lots of promises. When I complained about the time it took to complete the job, quality of work and the price he was extremely rude and vulgar and threatened to put a lien on my house if I failed to pay the full amount. Future customers should be well aware of the contract he offers as it prevents him from accepting any responsibility.

The workers who came were pleasant, but the owner rushed them to finish the job, resulting in sloppy work and a code violation. The owner, John Hammer, was fast to quote and collect money but refuses to come out without a hassle to look at the workmanship done by his workers. Damaged custom sink and blamed it on manufacturer, poor caulk job, loose toilet, bad trim job, paint and drywall issues. Offered to fix it, but just not the quality of workmanship I expected. Waste of time and money. Slow to come out and inspect work, no quality control during job. Refuses to accept responsibility for work, blames everything and anyone else for damaged materials (blamed me for the trim after his workers told me what to buy, blamed the chipped custom sink on the manufacturer). Was nice in beginning, now dragging his feet because I canceled other jobs and want my deposits back. Really disappointed. Contacted the BBB. Steven Pittman gave a 5 star review, probably because he WORKS for Wall Fixer Uppers.
