3 months ago I agreed for JRS to repoint my roof. I then agreed to almost 1k of additional work to power wash and treat the roof as he 'noticed a lot of your neighbours have had it done and yours would look very nice and a amazing difference in appearance of your property also would prevent any future moss for the longer term'. I'd been recommended JRS so thought I'd be safe spending the extra despite a new family and not much cash to spare. However, JRS subcontracted the job out to 'those foreign guys' ('were ok but just don't do stuff like me and my guys we have a eye for detail') who frankly wrecked the roof, wrecked the garden and covered the house in mud. Cigarette ends, cans and coffee cups everywhere and left the outside tap on which resulted in a burst pipe, for which I got a 50 pound discount on the work.... All that I could just about deal with if the job was done, except our house didn't look like our neighbours with the agreed tile-coloured mortar, it looked horrific with white cement on a red roof and flashing literally hanging off in two places which wasn't there before. After a few missed visits (common theme), Jimmy came out to rectify the work with 'his guys' that I thought I had paid for in the first place. No communication since their visit and I've two visible broken tiles, a multi-coloured roof and cracking cement that they replaced. So I certainly did get an amazing difference in the appearance of my roof, but not the one I thought I was getting. I got JRS subcontracted stooges making an absolute mess of it, then a half-baked attempt at fixing the problems caused, while ignoring tiles that were broken from the start. In case any of this is disputed after the review, photos, e-mail chain and visits are available to see the standard of work proudly done by JRS.

Called JRS Roofing today, arrived in less than an hour. Spent a wee while looking for problem and gave good advice. No charge as no work needed to be carried out. Can honestly say we’d fully recommend this company. If we ever need anything done again relating to roofing issues we will be calling JRS.

After contacting Jrs roofing (November 2018) to quote for a repair at the rear of my house they responded very quickly, also providing photos of the work required. As the quote was a reasonable one I gave them the go-ahead for the repair. This was done within a week, and the back garden was left so clean and tidy,you wouldn't even be aware that they had been. An invoice followed by email, again with photos so that I could see for myself that all work quoted for had been carried out to my satisfaction.Call this company first if roof work needs to be done, you won't be disappointed, they are quick and efficient, clean courteous and tidy, and charge a reasonable rate for a job well done. I am a very happy customer.
