I hired Joel on a reccomendation of a friend. Initially i needed 2 sky lights sealed for which I was charged $420. A bit high but I needed it done and it was completed within a weeks time. Here's where everything goes horribly wrong. I also had some wood rot around the lower portions of my house. So I hired Joel to fix this also. The quote was $1800 which was absurd to begin with but since its hard to get anyone to show up to do anything in Hinesville I decided to agree. 3 Weeks later on a job that should have taken 2 days at most the job is still only half done. I paid him $1000 for materials which only cost $325 and then another $500cause he couldn't afford to pay the guys he contracted to do the work. He has called multiple times to say he would show up the following day but not to my surprise he would never show up. Essentially he has stolen my money and still hasn't completed the job. At this point if he ever calls back I would not let him near my house. Also because he was associated with someone that does solar installation I decided to get a quote on that also. Over 3 weeks late I still have not received that quote. These people are unreliable and essentially thieves. I wouldn't recommend them to build a sand castle let alone anything on a dwelling of any kind.
