Half of my roof had been removed before his workers realized they were at the wrong home. They were supposed to be working on the house one block over. Imagine my surprise when I came home that night to find half my roof was laying in my front yard! Although he left a business card, there was no note or anything to explain what had happened. I contacted the number on the card and he apologized for the mistake and promised he would correct it. At first he was very kind, apologetic, and professional. My roof was replaced and I figured all was well. I was aggravated that his workers left a pallet of shingles, rolls of nails, and a mess in my front yard but I was relieved he had corrected his mistake in a timely manner. A year later I had a leak in my garage and contacted OSRC to take a look at it. He acted as if I was a bother to him and his company. He referred me to a contractor and after several unanswered texts and phone calls I gave up. It has now been over a year and half since the original incident but I still find evidence of the mishap. Just today as I was cleaning out a small corner of my backyard I found 14 rolls of roofing nails in addition to hundreds of screws covered by pieces of old wood I used on a project several years ago. Luckily I do not own any animals or have small children that this could have caused a true hazard. My only regret is not writing about my awful experience sooner.
