Alvarez Roofing Solutions just completed re-roofing our garage and shed which were both leaking through old cedar shakes. Alvarez and 2 other companies gave us similar quotes but we chose them because they were prompt to arrive for a quote, confident, knowledgeable and explained the process from start to finish. Both roofs needed stripping of the old shakes (which were very stubborn) and plywood laid down before the shingles went on. Frediz gave us a written quote on the spot, an idea when they would be able to start and kept in contact with us once hired to do the job. He was patient and helpful while we chose a shingle colour that would simulate the old cedar shakes. We were very impressed with the top quality products they used, their professionalism and attention to detail. I also very much appreciated their understanding of our need to preserve the character of our garage which is a renovated 140 year old blacksmith shop with many imperfections to work around! The garage and shed roofs are now solid, look great and most importantly don’t leak! Frediz knows what he’s doing and I will not hesitate to hire Alvarez Roofing Solutions again when the house roof needs replacing.
