Calene Glousher review about company Grand Valley Roofing & Coatings Inc

This is by far the most RUDE + UNPROFESSIONAL company I've ever dealt with!! My partner and I had our car parked at a UHAUL Station where Grand Valley Roofers were working on the roof to replace some metal sheets. They obviously didn't produce a very high quality of work because on the same day after they left, one of the metal sheets fell off of the roof and landed on our car hood + bumper - leaving significant damage. For the first 2 weeks, Grand Valley Roofing completely ignored UHAUL's request to get in touch with them + us, and it wasn't until UHAUL decided to pay us themselves and send Grand Valley Roofing the bill that they finally contacted us. The first time we actually spoke to someone from the company, it was a woman named Wendy. The first words out of her mouth were "okay, so here's what you're going to do. Send me an email because you are not getting a single cent from us and we will be deciding how much we will pay to a shop." There was no "Hi, I'm Wendy, I'll be helping you with this." or even a "I'm sorry this happened." At no time was she apologetic for the fact that this even happened! During the entire phone conversation, she kept talking over me and raising her voice when I tried to speak. She hung up on us multiple times, and when I asked to speak to the owners she rudely + repeatedly said "They don't take phone calls or speak to customers. I'm in charge of this business. Anything else?" She continuously accused us of "trying to screw her over" before she even asked what happened or what our situation was. It has been almost 6 weeks and we are still dealing with them!!! They are continuously calling our mechanic/body shop and intimidating them trying to lower the price that they are required to pay, to the point where now what GVR is offering won't even cover the cost of fixing our car. I have NEVER in my life been treated with such disrespect - by any business or employee - and I will definitely not forget the interaction I had with Wendy. I will continue to tell people + many acquainted business owners my experience with Grand Valley Roofing. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Advice to the owners: I'm a business owner myself, and your employees Wendy + Debbie are definitely NOT examples of people I would ever allow to project the values + customer service of my business.
